This is a great way to get to see the Opera House and contribute to a great cause!

   

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Photographers both Still and Video
  • Mail addressing
  • Designers of  Invitations, Posters, etc.
  • Assist our Stage Manager and Chief Lighting Officer with Lighting, Sound, Sets and more
  • Public Relations; Ideas, mailings, calling, visiting, distribution of posters/brochures, building contact lists etc.

Ongoing Needs:

  • Carpentry Work
  • Painters
  • People to clean in opera house prior to opening for Spring
  • Ushers
  • Ticket Collectors
  • Tour Guides
  • Gift Shop Sales People
  • People to research museum items
  • And much more….

Experience the History First Hand! 

In keeping with the vision to revive the opera house as a community hub, local high school drama students will serve as interpreters for summer tours 

with scripts in the voices of Leadville historical characters written by Colorado historical fiction author Donna Baier Stein.
